China steps up diplomacy with N. Korea (AP)

Baseball teams endorse caskets and urns (AP)

Major League Baseball has entered into a licensing agreement with Eternal Image, which hopes to eventually make urns and caskets with for all 30 baseball teams. Eternal Image says urns for six teams, the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers,  should be available by Opening Day 2007, and caskets for those teams should be ready later in the year. Drunk Norwegian breaks into prison (AP)

AP - In a different kind of jail break, a very drunk young man surprised prison guards by breaking into their northern Norway jail. "You might say we were a bit perturbed to find this person on our turf," prison warden Geir Broen said on the state radio network NRK on Monday.
